A ink and Pencil drawing based on The Death Dance (Totentanz) in Tallinn’s St. Nicholas Church. I left the Kings, Bishops etc. out to have the corpses do a merry dance to the sound of bagpipes.
The Death Dance was a popular subject in the 15th Century art, but few examples remain intact.
