Naiads – the Fountain Spirits series

“My aim has been to capture the oldest of the four Natural Elements, like freezing a moving dancer. The end result is a series of photographs of moments that we can not see with everyday naked eye.

Time freezes in quicksilver and plays music on everyday surface. Working in inverted black & white scale brings a physical weight to the aspects which normally are contrary to the Laws of Gravity.

I hope the series inspires people to slow down and see the magic everywhere they go, from the raindrops on the bus stop, to the crystals of ice and lenses of water on pools, to the moisture of the cooking starting to run in streams of water on the kitchen window.”
